Hello, I have a 6 quart Presto Pressure Cooker, and want to use it to steam some food, can someone suggest a strainer or basket or tray that will fit into the pressure cooker and sit above the water line? Also, if you can provide a link to buy one online, that’d be awesome, thanks!
yes thats right I dont know what its called but this is his first taste of it and he loves that thing. Sorry the camera died so its short will record again
So i took all my leftover Halloween pumpkins and decided to prepare them like apple sauce(used one of those apple sauce makers.) But now i’m told that i can’t can it, so i need to use it very soon. I’d like to make some cookies or something with it, but anything would do… Any ideas? Also, and this is the important part, how do i drain the mush so i have the pumpkin and not the water?
So why do my kids do this? Why can’t they just ask me where to put it? Well here’s what happened… I was going to use my food processor but I couldnt find the blade. After some really hard looking I found it under the accumilating pile of (things that people in the house don’t know where to go) in the dish strainer, not with the food processor. Is it just my house or is that where all of that kind of stuff ends up?
Have you heard the story about the police who used a colander connected to a photocopier as a lie detector? It turns out that the “real” lie detector — the polygraph — works on much the same principle. Making Pomegranate Juice really isn’t that difficult and it can be really easy to create if you have the right tools. I recommend using a food strainer to make your juice. Yes it could be easier using a actual juicer but it is also a lot more expensive in the event you do not own a Juicer. When you use a strainer you can make sure to get all the seeds out and have this delicious healthy juice all to yourself. When you use a strainer as well you will realize that there really is a ton of liquid inside those pomegranates!
Making pomegranate juice. Getting the arils out of the rinds and getting the juice out of the arils with the kitchenaid food strainer attachment.
I got this cup and tea sieve/sifter set, and the sieve is badly stained as I drink a lot of tea.
I tried soaking it on soap water, but doesn’t work. I do not want to use bleach, as I use this cup ever day. Any advice?
