I have a really finely knit strainer that we use to strain orzo and rinse canned beans/vegetables. It gets bits of food stuck in it and we have done everything we can think of to clean it and get the food out, but nothing works! Any suggestions?
I have one of those tiny ones too.-it is from when my mom was little even.
I be sure to rinse it with hot water the second I am done using it-even if Im not going to wash it at that time.
When I wash it-I use a scotch brite pad (it is a brillo pad without the soap on it)
It works great.
Tooth picks, works every time.
thats kinda tough… you can try licking them or mayb just throw it away and get a new one. this time! get a good one that says "easy clean…". i got one of them and it works great!
Use a vegetable brush, or put it in your dishwasher. I use a brush, and it works very well.
