Donning a Colander

Food Strainer Ads

More info

In the Flagon’s Tale (of SPR), a silly event took place in which several patrons unwillingly donned colanders. Of course, I got into the fun too.

wrote this about Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury for my english class. i apologize for shitty voice… i’m sick and my nose was all stuffy. :[ lyrics.. Just around the corner you met a girl Who showed you the things that changed your whole world She said put back your head with your mouth open wide And the rain that falls down tastes exactly like wine A book is a weapon in the house next door So burn them, ’cause what are they good for We can’t have one man that’s smarter than the rest So let those firefighters do what they do best Are you happy where you are right now in your life ’cause you have this fake smile and you don’t love your wife And after she took those sleeping pills the other night You only cried when you realized you wouldn’t if she died She’s got three walls in the parlor with family dancing on the screen She’s got cousins and uncles not aware of anything Because they’re oblivious to her, they’re not even real But she’s lonely and she loves them and that’s the only thing she feels Just upstream where you felt it was safe You found the most peculiar place A group of men that were just like you With a love for books and a memory full of them too

        Making a powder sieve

Creating one of a set of small sieves for grading and checking the granular size of powders. I purchased a set of 9 small mesh squares (10cmx10cm) of varying grades from #10 to #300 (holes per inch). I cut the bottoms of a bunch of small plastic food tubs, and using a hot baking tray melted them onto the mesh. Then each was carefully trimmed to give a compact set of stackable sieves.

The simplest & most nutritious way to sprout Loose sprouts. Normally you rinse twice a day, using this method it is a 1/day task, it involves soaking the sprouts in a Seaweed solution(which also contains Humate ie prehistoric compost & Magnesium Chloride), giving you a much more nutritious sprout, that tastes better & because of its extra vitality, it can be stored for up to 5 days in the refrigerator where they will continue to grow but at a very slow rate, meaning you have your living food on tap, well in the fridge, with a little less effort from you.

Is it okay to reuse oil with Fry Daddy?

After I fry something with my Fry Daddy, can I strain/filter out the sediment to use again? After frying, I pour the oil into another bowl under a strainer covered with paper towels (to the point where I’m left with clean vegetable oil). I’ve used the same oil to fry 3 different things (adding a little each time to resupply the oil taken from the previous batch).

Is it okay to keep reusing the oil like this, or will it make the food taste worse? How many times should it be reused, or should it be reused at all?

              Any info will be appreciated!
