Does anyone have advice on how to handle this tactfully?
Help, I’m making a recipe, and it calls for thawed berries, and then the instructions say to "drain the berries". How do I do that?
My berries are previously frozen, so right now they’re sitting in a colander in the sun.. I just don’t know how to get the juices from them!!
I know to put them in a colander, but I don’t see any juices coming through, also, the recipe wants to use the juices in it!
We don’t have a dishwasher, and no matter how much boiling water I pour through, or how long i leave it to soak, I never seem to be able to get rid of the starchy residue that is left behind by the rice/spaghetti etc…
So I turned the wrong burner on and set fire to a plastic colander that I had left on top of the stove. I was watching it so there’s no real damage. Now whenever I turn that burner on, fumes come off and they smell like burning plastic. Any idea how to fix this?
